To keep the very remote chance of Top 6 alive, Hibs need a lot of results to go their way. That was the first one.

A win for Dundee Utd and, at least, a draw for Hibs at Parkhead tomorrow come next.

Spurs down to ten men, Crouch off for a really stupid challenge just minutes after he was booked

This commentator on sky sports is hilarious. He talks about how Real Madrid should of had a penalty but then goes on to say the referee has had a great game. The best part is that Bale gets lightly fouled and it is not given as a free kick and the commentator comments "That has been the worst decision of the night from the referee"

That being said, as I want Tottenham to win, I agree with everything he is saying! :greengrin

2-0 Madrid, Adebayor again.

Spurs sleeping from a short corner.

If they get another tonight it could well be tie over. :agree:

How annoying is Ray Wilkins?

I put it down to his time at Man Ure

On another note it would be nice if the Gunners re-signed Adebayor, unlikely as it is. 10 goals in 10 games against those mugs!

I get the impression he wants Madrid to win.

Tomorrows match thread will be better though, mon the Chelsea

With Inter getting humped, I'd say Man Uniteds path to the final looks quite simple.

Terrific result for Schalke.

Still 15 minutes to go and can see it finishing 6-2. That's a good result.

How many times have they beaten Chelsea this season?

Exactly. Outside of a glorified friendly, Man United haven't beaten Chelsea since January 2009 IIRC.

That should make it an easy path to the final right enough.

FT in both games, looks fairly clear cut who will be going through in each tie.

Very. He just states the obvious. Then he comes out with "I feel sure Spurs would have scored had Crouch remained on the field". I don't agree!

I would argue that the Community Shield is a bit more than a glorified friendly, since it's played at Wembley and a trophy is presented to the winners.

If you don't count that victory then yes the last time United beat Chelsea was January 2009. However in the last five seasons, here's the results at Stamford Bridge;

Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester Utd
Chelsea 1-1 Manchester Utd
Chelsea 1-0 Manchester Utd
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester Utd

I would be content with all of these results tomorrow night and I would be quite confident of United finishing off the job at Old Trafford.

In fact lets just forget about the Final and the handling fee. Royal mail should just drop the trophy off at Old Trafford. Waste of time playing for it now.

Ray Wilkins is the worst commentator i have ever heard in my life. Thank god he is not doing the Man Utd Chelsea game, seeing as he loves both of them.

Wilkins is absolutely pants at talking about football.

The most annoying part of his commentary was him referring to Tottenham as "we"

By the end of the game he was referring to them as "they"

Whats that all about?

It was absolutely appalling, Michael, Ricky, Jermain jeezo absolutely cringeworthy and over familiar. He had to correct himself at one point having to explain Ricky was indeed Carvalho. Truly dreadful to be honest.
