NEVER a good idea to sing that before the game is won. And by that i dont mean being 1 up with 5 minutes to go.

If we're well up with 15 minutes to go we could also throw in carefully selected commentary pieces from their Scottish Cup triumph over the Dons and their Marshall's Chunky Chicken single that knocked Queen off the UK number one spot in the charts.

I do quite like the "we are hibernian" tune that's played. Prodigy is it?
Sunshine on leith right as the players are coming out for the 2nd half.

Gorgski Park Beyond - What's the colour of money

Dull my senses
steal my pride
principles denied
Passion faked and sold to the anthem green and gold.
Colour of the virtue by working like a slave
More precious than life itself
what's the colour tempting fate?

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red.

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red.

Dull my senses
steal my pride
principles denied
Passion faked and sold to the anthem green and gold.
What was a useful tool
has taken our control?
It takes away your hearts and wraps it up around your soul.

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
... I know it's red
I know it's red

Dull my senses
steal my pride
principles denied
Passion faked and sold to the anthem green and gold.
Colour of the virtue by working like a slave
More precious than life itself
familiarity breeds contempt.

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red

What's the colour of money
what's the colour of money?
Don't tell me that you think it's green
me I know it's red

What's the colour of money? (14x)

How about the song that was number one on that fateful day in May, seeing that it is close to the 25th anniversary. The last song suicidal jambos wanted to hear that day, a song that drove many a jambo over the edge with some pretty apt words - A different Corner. I am sure any fuds over 40 will get the message.

Just had a look at hits from '86. Most appropriate for the Yams IMO ...
All Cried Out, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam With Full Force
Throwing It All Away Genesis
There's also a nice Scottish traditional song that might raise a wee smile from the Gorgie mob ...
(Up wi' the bonnets o') Bonnie Dundee

I emailed these to the boy yesterday;

1, Oasis - ******in in the bushes (this is a must! essential!)
2, Kasabian - Club Foot
3, Stone Roses - This is the one
4, Undertones - Teenage Kicks
5, GLORY GLORY TO THE HIBEES!!!

Get everybody well and truly psyched up instead of the usual chart p*sh, black eyed peas or whatever. Think the oasis tune would be AMAZING just before the derby. No music except maybe SOL or glory glory in the 5 mins before kick off.
