Anyone heard the new album? Have to say I was pleasantly surprised, not necessarily by the songs as a whole but the production. Ultimately all the dance/dubstep/electro/house fans will slate it as a poor imitation because it's Britney, but they will be the same people who like to put every song in a bracket and liked everything before everyone else.

standard club song, will be everywhere, expect to get sick of this soon!

clear dubstep INFLUENCE(don't get into this whole what is dubstep argument)

starts promising with some french-ish sounding electro, then strangely into some eastern europe early 2000s techno on the chorus - can't help but think of Groove Coverage for some reason!

the rest are all up on youtube.

Surprising album, but overall too much singing not allowing what seems to be some good production to shine through, wouldn't mind an 'instrumental' remix album!

Eh...I love the white-trash burger-munching goddess, but I appreciate her best as a video artist, and with the sound turned down.

im sorry i cant agree, although my fave types of music is dance/trance/house/ old skool etc, i feel i have an open mind to all music, but to me all 3 songs were pish.

each to their own though :aok:

as for a remix album, Im sure Clubland will have a go as per everything else people bring out

Haha when I said remix album, I certainly did not mean anything like clubland, can not stand most that, all sound the same after clubland 4.

I'm not trying to say this album is something i'll particularly listen to over other options, just that i was surprised at the music in the songs, and the clear electro uptake, think there's song good stuff in there past the 'lyrics.'

clearly I was a tad generous in the my descriptions.
