I usually look forward to this lineup being released, but have to confess at being a little disappointed this year, especially by the Reading Saturday/Leeds Sunday lineup:

Reading Friday/Leeds Saturday

My Chemical Romance
30 Seconds to Mars
The Offspring
Deftones
Rise Against
Bring Me The Horizon
New Found Glory
The Blackout
Architects

Beady Eye
White Lies
Noah & The Whale
The Vaccines
Patrick Wolf
The Naked and Famous

Reading Saturday/Leeds Sunday

The Strokes
Pulp
The National
Jimmy Eat World
Madness
Two Door Cinema Club
Seasick Steve
The Pigeon Detectives
The Joy Formidable

Janes Addiction
Crystal Castle
Bombay Bicycle Club
Special Guests
The Kill
Everything Everything

Reading Sunday/Leeds Friday

Muse
Elbow
Interpol
Friendly Fires
Enter Shikari
The View
Frank Turner
Taking Back Sunday
We Are Ocean

2manyDJ's
The Streets
Death From Above 1979
Panic! At the Disco
Warpaint
Chapel Club
Cage the Elephant

=Main Stage
=NME Radio 1 Stage

I didn't used to think of Reading/Leeds as an "Indie" festival - sadly, there are so many Indie bands this year, I've utterly no interest in going.

There's not a single decent band amongst the NME Bands (from my musical taste anyway - I'm not saying they're not talented when I say "not decent", I merely mean bands I would enjoy) and the entire Reading Saturday/Leeds Sunday lineup (apart from Jimmy Eat World) is utterly dire if you're not an Indie fan.

On an unrelated note, didn't The Streets split up?!

They are not writing anymore material as a band. Still doing live shows though.

Jane's Addiction are one of the best bands I've ever seen. Perry Farrell is the man.
