About to start now on Sky Sports 1.

Solis is an Olympic Gold medalist, big tough Cuban.

Mandatory challenger for the belt and probably the most live challenger Vitali has been in with in a while. Still fancy Klitschko to win but an upset is certainly possible.

Solis to take a dive in R/1 or R/2 is my prediction.

Spot on Sergey.

Took a blow to the temple and his legs looked dodgy but i'm not convinced he couldn't go on.

Jim watt seems sure it wasn't an act mind you.

He was holding his right knee as he sat on the canvas after the knockdown. The punch, albeit a good one, wasn't flush and I'd be shocked if that was the cause of him stumbling back to his feet. To me it was more to do with a leg injury.

I didn't see anything in that first round that should have caused Solis to feel he had to feign injury and retire. If it turns out he DID fake the knockdown then he should not be allowed to box professionally again.

Disappointing end, was looking forward to it!!

Looking at it again it does look far more like a knee injury than anything caused by the punch.

Solis had actually had moderate success in getting at Vitali up to that point.

I'm still convinced the speed and power of Haye will be enough to cause both of the K brothers problems if he and Booth can work out a game plan similar to that he employed against Valuev.

Hasn't Haye now signed to fight Wlad? If he can get past his jab he'll win.

Yes and no.

He has signed a deal to fight Wlad on either 25th June or 2 July but as of yet no venue has been decided. There is also a deadline of late April/early May for Wlad to prove his fitness with regards to the abdominal injury that forced him out the Chisora fight. If he can't prove his fitness there is a clause in place that allows Vitali to step in and take the fight.

Either way Haye is now over in Miami and has started preparing for the fight so he's obviously going for a full 12 week camp.

Agree with you though if Haye gets inside Wlads jab then he has a great chance of winning, Wlad hardly has a granite chin and Haye is arguably the biggest puncher in boxing.

Maybe a lil off topic or a bit late(prehpas both?) but this solis person has done something to kis knee and there are some reports(cant claim i know there true or false) that were saying that he had an injury to his knee before the fight.

I saw kliticho's reaction after the fight and im unsure if he was concerned or p*ssed off.

As for the reports of haye fighting im sure theres some sorta agreement from hayes manager to get things sorted the last week of april. If wald(not our dear jambo freind:wink:) cant prove his fitness/over his ingury im sure vitali would be more than happy to fight haye

p.s my last paragraph i ve just noticed that pretty boy has posted pretty much what i ve said.I didn't copy him sir, honest

Yes, Haye's been working out of Angelo Dundee's reopened gym on Washington and 5th street. I know one of the trainers there and they've been excited to work with him. Haye seems to be very confident that the fight (with Wlad) will go ahead, but I suppose boxers need to get to that point in their head in order to get properly focused on their training regime.
