I see they are doing the draws for the quarter and semi finals. When are they doing the draw for the final?

Ridiculous isn't it, you'd think you could just put us out of our misery and do it all at once. :greengrin

Hope Barca and Real Madrid are kept well apart.

That would be a cracking final.

Shaktar is a tricky draw for Barca, Madrid will be happpy with Spurs, Inter and Schalke will both be happy and i reckon so will Man Utd and Chelsea.

Decent chance of an English team in a Wembley final the way the semis have been drawn.

Still fancy Barcelona to win it though.

What are shaktars odds? Theyve looked outstanding so far...

I reckon Chelsea have enough to beat Man Utd over 2 legs :agree:

Real Madrid SHOULD get beyond Spurs and fingers crossed Barca overcome a tricky tie against a very good (and underrated) Shaktar side to set up what will be a superb semi-final.

I reckon Inter should easily deal with Shalke.

I agree. Torres to hit form at the right time and with Drogba and Anelka, what a strong front line.

I reckon a Chelsea v Barca final.

Mon the Chelsea :greengrin

Could go either way for me. Chelsea have enough to beat Man Utd but Man Utd have enough to beat them as well. I'd favour Man Utd very slightly.

The good news is that we'll get 2 Real v Barca games in the semi rather than the one off final.

I would suggest that's a decent draw for United.

Over two legs, I would like to think they'll do enough to beat Chelsea, particularly with the second leg being at Old Trafford.

That'll mean they'll meet three times in the space of 4 weeks.

I'm hopeful that Barcelona have got one of the hardest draws that they could have got as they will have to go to Donetsk for the second leg. Obviously they could have the tie won after the first leg at the Camp Nou but I don't think they'll be too happy with that draw.

Personally I think the semi final line up will be;

Real Madrid v Barcelona
Inter Milan v Manchester Utd

The Inter Milan-Schalke tie will be close and it really could go either way. I know Schalke are having a bad domestic season but they have just sacked their manager so perhaps that could see their fortunes change.

I think Inter will have a little bit too much for them though.

Personally think Spurs will get annihilated by Real. Dont think they have a prayer to be honest.

No-one thought that Tottenham Hotspur had a chance of even getting a Top Four Premier League place last season.

Then all the experts wrote us off, saying we'd "Do an Everton" and not get past the Play-Off stage.

After that, no-one gave us a ghost of a chance against the reigning European & Italian Champions Inter Milan, the current Dutch Champions FC Twente and a very experienced German outfit Werder Bremen.

Having not only failed to embarass ourselves in the Group Stage but actually went and won the damn thing (and set a new Champions League goalscoring record in the process), Spurs were given no hope against the current Italian League leaders AC Milan in the Round of 16.

Yet here we are in the Quarter Finals with Real Madrid coming up and once again no-one thinking we've got a ghost of a chance to progress to the Semi-Finals.

Great draw for Chelsea, beat them home & away last year, and already beat them this year:greengrin
