So with the Hibs TV offering 14 days for 99p do you think it will affect the size of the crowd or the quality of the stream? http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/20110318/hibernian-tv-live-bohemians_2262950_2319078

Well if you take up the 99p offer you do not have to spend a tenner to go to the game, you can watch it at home for six quid :tumble:

Jakki won't be going anyway. It's her chance to see the game. Same for quite a number of folk who live in other parts of the UK. I doubt it will affect the crowd and I'm sure the HTV team will ensure the Easter Road end is capable. This will probably make the club money and raise the HTV profile. I'm not sure who you are having a pop at here

Who's having a pop? just pointing out fact's

Nobody mentioned anyone's names and I am well aware of Jakki's situation and I applaud people like her who make every effort to attend games.

Well in answer to your questions then, my view is No and No.

Do you think differently?

Yes and unsure

People who are working and don't finish till after 7 will not feel the need to rush down to ER for a friendly when they can get it on there PC at home, and unsure with the quality because you find that the more people who tune into certain PC broadcast's can affect the stream.

A good question!

I'm an annual subscriber based in the UK and the only thing I can see on the official site is that the £6 match fee should have been paid over the weekend - but I'm not sure if that only applies to "one off" viewers or whether it also applies to the annual subscribers.

Either way, it looks as though it's now too late to purchase which is a bit disappointing.

Thanks for that.

I've managed to pay my £6 as an existing UK subscriber so hopefully all will be well come kick off time.

It's not too late. You can still purchase the game via the following link.

I have posted on the Private Members forum in answer to your question there.

Does anyone know if you will be able to watch the game on the iPad app?

I don't have the app just now but would consider downloading if I could watch the game on that.

I emailed the link on the official article if you had any questions however that was about 4 hours ago and I've not had anything back.

Just a word of caution. IIRC,the last time the broadcast was open to everyone the server got overloaded and there were severe buffering problems:shocked: Dnipro if I remember correctly

I think it was Maribor IIRC.

Maybe Hibs TV learnt a lesson from the Maribor game and have appropriated sufficient bandwith this evening so it won't happen again..., then again maybe not...

They were supposed to but funnily enough nothing arrived. Not particularly bothered but unanswered emails score a big zero on professionalism hence why I'll never use the tv feature again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Yes, found the link on the home page. You would think they could drop an email advising the normal route to getting the commentary has been by-passed:rolleyes:
