When I got married before the ceremony my best man and I sat in the ministers office at the back of the church waiting on my missus making her appearance. We also retired here after the service to sign the register. What is the common name for this room. I am sure it began with an S. Not Sanctuary tho. It is one of these names on the tip of your tongue moments.

Nae bother. Thought it was worth a bash having a search. Vestry was just too obvious so we've both learnt something today :agree: :greengrin

Is the Scottish version not a Simmitry or is that where dead people get buried?
