Whats the name of the guy who done the funny football topic show in the 80s, there was a short clip on Fridays football years and it annoying me!?!

Think there was clip from Absolutely with I think Jack Docherty? The bit about England's world cup draw being the Isle of Man and me and my mum.

Absolutely wasn't a football topical show though, it was a comedy sketch show shown on Channel 4.

Ahead of its time and way funnier than Chewing The Fat imo.

Favourite sketch was 'Stoneybridge'. :thumbsup:

It's my very favourite sketch show. The McGlashan news clip here (http://www.absolutelyandy.com/absolutely/videoclips/divx/index.htm) is sensational.

McGlashan was also a good Hibby. Remember him playing a newsreader role in Absolutely and launching into Murdo! Murdo! as he read out Hibs beating the Hertz!
