Missed the game too. What was the atmosphere like and was the 'green day' a success?

I'm surprised by that, thought it looked more.

3 home stands were pretty full, looked great! Atmosphere was good. I would say it was a definate success. Just a shame we cant get the ground like that every home game.

Thought it looked more on HibsTV - that would mean there were more than 1000 empty seats in each of the 3 home stands  - Petrie probably had a go on the Hibs.net prediction of 13,841 :greengrin

How did it compare with the hibees reunited game? Albeit a hibs kids game against the saints I think it could be an interesting comparison

Glad all folks got the result and goals if were trying to get people back cant be a bad thing

It didn't look like there was still another 6k seats available,

good turn out all the same.

wouldn't be disappointed if they were to have another couple of "green days" before the end of the season.

away end was practically empty it hold 4000 aprox

that would mean a spread of 2000 seats amongst the three stands , the famous five executive is practically empty too.

13k sounds about right to me

Find that very hard to believe. Looked like there were a couple of hundred seats empty in both the west and FF. ICT probably had about 300 supporters in the South Stand so by my reckoning

South Stand: 3,962 - 3662 = 300
FF Stand: 3,864 - 200 = 3664
West Stand: 6,400 - 200 = 6200
Total excluding East = 10,164
Total including East = 13,841
Therefore support in East = 3,723 No way

Personally I thought the attendance was around the 15,000 mark but I didn't count them in and I didn't count them out.

There's only a total of around 16,500 seat available to home fans, so to sell about 13,500 while being in the bottom three in a routine league game is pretty impressive.

I'd imagine Green Day added about 2,000-2,500 onto the crowd, o well worth doing.

Would like to ER sell out fir the derby against the Yams.

Slightly more than what it looked like to me, had expected more to turn up to be honest, atmosphere was decent though.

The atmosphere was really good...There was a point in the second half when the rest of the East joined in with the 12th man when it was actually loud. Quite a few songs seemed to be started from the West as well.

Great effort:agree::flag:

Do you think so Bob?
I'd like to know how many free tickets actually went to lapsed/new supporters as opposed to mates who regularly PATG.

I'm speculating as I couldn't make it along today, from what people have said there seems quite a few of the disillusioned along.

Wonder if they counted the young lad who I saw in the east stand concourse just before kick off being held up by a steward. He was so pished that he couldn't stand and it was just a matter of time before he was getting punted.

Hope he wasn't nominated by anyone on here. :greengrin

We were in the upper west, tucked up against the gable end and there wasn't any seats available in that section that I could see. :greengrin
Great crowd, and the 12th man is steadily growing. Great atmosphere today right from the off. The best thing is though, you can see its having an effect on the team. I usually sit in the east, I want ot go join in the singing section but if I did I'd miss watching and listening from a distance! :not worth

Think it was just alcohol/drugs related as when I saw him he had a big grin on his face and I wouldn't imagine that is a symptom of someone having a fit. Felt sorry for the person who was with him as it looked like it could have been his mate who had the difficult choice of whether to let his friend stagger home or watch his beloved Hibees.

Anyway I hope the young lad was okay. :aok:

I hope FalkirkHibby nominated him after being persuaded by many on here that nothing could go wrong. :greengrin
