As the season is over and for those of you who like/follow College football... lets start looking at the Draft...

As a Patriots fan, I am happy that we have so many picks and one position I think we will look to fill is at Running back. Although we had great success at running the ball and our rotation of backs is good, I think we lack a full on classy running back so maybe we will go for a highly rated one early.

Any thoughts?

Yep, I reckon a RB will be on our list. Perhaps bolstering the Defensive Line might also be a key area of concern.

Our offensive line is solid enough, though the Jets exposed some holes in it during that game so perhaps some additional support here might help.

Stick with benjarvus

Get a deep running wr

Get cover at nose tackle

I like him but our rotation policy has been working well so maybe a flashy young RB would add an extra dimension to our running game.

I do agree with cover at nose tackle though. We have two first round draft picks (IIRC) so could pick up some top talent in those positions.

I'll second that! Why are they drafting before us anyway? Did they not win the Superbowl? Can't quite remember who put them out? :flag:

Who do you think we should be looking to draft? I like the look of Phil Taylor, the nose tackle from Baylor, as a replacement for Jenkins.

The occhocinco rumours were interesting. Would only need 1 good year from him at pats if nothing else is worth pursuing. Agree with the rotation system for RB's but I love how BJGE is a wee bulldozer. Like him and woodhead.

Maybe a Secondary Linesman who could don a bit of man coverage would be useful.

As for jets - Sanchez sucks. But I love derelle revis and braylon edwards. Think they should look at replacing LDT he looks like he may retire soon.

Erm.... Albert Haynesworth will be moving and maybe Donovan mcnabb after the bust ups with the head coach at redskins. Think the Vikings could make use of mcnabb. Haynesworth is a trouble maker but would be useful for someone out there.

Dolphins REALLY need to sort out QB situation so I expect them to chuck either henne/pennington to the cardinals in return for a draft pick. Dolphins might try mallett who is a QB coming up in the draft.

Don't know if he will be about come our pick but like I've said before, would go for Cameron Heyward if we can get him . I think a lot will depend on who stays and who goes though and it's a difficult one with us not having a 2nd round pick.

Just like to point out that I know all Patriot fans aren't glory hunters :tsk tsk:.
Although I would agree that a lot of them are :na na:.

And easy way to spot them is to ask "Who was quarterback before Brady?" or if they were real fans (and therefore love The Tom) they would know what number Brady was picked in the draft :agree:

Linemen and a flashy RB will do for me.

Dolphins definately have to sort out their QB but TBH I dont want them too anytime soon, its good seeing them so poor! :greengrin

Should the Bears try and draft high for a QB? I have never really been impressed with Cutler.

Is the draft same weekend as the royal wedding? If so .
