Guys and girls i'm hoping someone can help me out here.

Over the last couple of years i have had a few arcticles published on various boxing websites, these have generally been opinions on popular fighters, analysing fights or making predictions etc. I also worte a short piece on one of my all time favourite fighters, the much missed Arturo Gatti.

Anyway to cut a long story short over the last 9 months or so i have, mostly just for fun, been writing a few pieces on the best title fights to involve Britsh fighter over the course of the last 25 years. As i say this started of as just a bit of fun but having had it read by a few people and having had pretty favourable feedback i have started to draft it into somethign resembling a book. I am now probably only a couple of months away from having a 1st draft that i am satisfied with.

So the advice i am loking for is does anyone know of an independent publisher that specialises in sports books? a search on google comes up with literally hundreds of independent publishers so if anyone could help narrow down the field it would be much appreciated. I realise that the chances of actually getting this published are slim but i'd like to give it a go just to get some feedback and hopefully get some advice that will help should i decide to have a go at anything similar in the future.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I like Yellow Jacket press, which is an imprint of Random House UK, Britain's biggest publishers.

I'm a bit of a sports book nut, and I like reading about sports I'm not particularly informed or passionate about. They have a good, often slightly quirky list, but the quality of writing is always very high.

You obviously have an excellent knowledge of the fight game and express yourself well, maybe you should try there first?

Not sure if this suits the OP but I think publishing via the iPad or Kindle is relatively simple and doesn't even involve a publisher. I read recently about some (unknown) authors who are earning fortunes going through this route because they sell at a low price and get loads of impulse buys.
