Do you watch this? My nephew wants to get tickets for ones in UK. Is it hard to get hold of them?

If you want ringside seats then you have to move quickly when they go on sale. Otherwise you shouldn't have any problems. I took my wee lad last year and the tickets had already been on sale for quite a while before I bought ours. Check out Ticketmaster.

Ahh the nostalgia.

If only they could also bring back Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, Mankind, The New Age Outlawz, masked Kane, Rikishi and Too Cool, Chyna etc etc.

Never been the same since the Attitude era and the merger with WCW IMO.

Good promo from the Rock.

As stated though, just reminds me of the glory days of the late 90's that will never be recaptured IMO!

You're getting old Steve. The kids today will be saying the same about the John Cena years. :greengrin

BLASPHEMY!! :greengrin

Seriously though, there is no comparison.

Even the discussion about tickets proves it - 10-15 years ago these events were selling out very quickly. Now as you say, it's not that hard to get tickets, although it still does usually sell out.

The WWF in the late 90s was class. Thursday night was Raw then Friday was Smackdown. I absolutely loved it. Mankind (dude love, cactus jack), Kane, Undertaker, Austin, The Rock, HHH, new age outlaws, chyna and trish etc. Those were the days. I used to be a full on die hard with it all but just kinda stopped watching it. I remember the 24/7 hardcore belt, aww take me back to the 90s.

Actually Friday night was Raw, and Smackdown was Saturday, but Smackdown didn't even start until 1999!

1997 - 2001 were the best years, no doubt. Been going downhill ever since WCW went down the tubes ironically enough.

You lot should give TNA a shout. Not as good as the old WWF stuff but most of the guy's from then are on there. Angle, Flair, Foley and the Dudley boys to name a few.
