It would seem the new players have inspired some amongst us to put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard, to scribe a whole raft of new songs.

The Hibs 12th Man has been watching and singing along as each hit the boards of the HibeesBounce and Hibs.net.

Two of these songs have risen to the top to almost universal acclaim and …

So, over to the Singing Section, lets hear these songs for the new guys as well as our auld favourites as we carry on from our win in the last game where the atmosphere was simply magnificent. Well done the singers, well done the dancers!

Not a fan of either song tbh. Makalambay song for palsson IMO sounds better.

I like them both. I know Benifca have a version of Buffalo Soldier and the chorus sounds amazing when they sing it.

I have a challenge for you Hibs12thMan songsmiths

Can somebody please put better words than I've done here to one of my favourite songs - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor by Drowning Pool? I've been struggling with new lyrics for it as a Singing Section song = I'm convinced that sung full volume it would be an absolute blast. Play it on Youtube LOUD if you don't know it.

Like the Palsson song. But the Sodje song needs a bit more work (around line 4 before the chorus).

I'd also prefer 'battering your rivals' to the wording that's currently there. :greengrin

Are ye jokin? the Sodje one is funny and shows a bit of imagination. Genuinely think that could take off. Completely original and on our rivals' has to stay! not changin it to anything non-sweary!

The Palsson one needs a bit of work - the one that suggested yer Lampard, yer Stevie Gerrard' was on to a winner! Speaking about his height and mentionin heaven is a bit G.A.Y!

Think the 12th Man and all involved are doing a great job - lookin forward to gettin involved in an away end (dont have a season tickt due to playin on a Saturday) very soon!

Here is a song iv'e made up that goes to the tune of the Irish folk song "we're on the one road" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XwWyew-S4c ....... and before some of the sensitive one's out there get on your pedestal and go on about how we should have nothing to do with ireland, remember liverpool sing fields of anfield road.

Anyway this is the words.

We're on the one road, maybe the wrong road, we're on the road to God knows where.
We're on the one road, it's maybe the wrong road, but we're together now who cares.
Celtic, utd, Jam Tarts too, watch out the Huns we'll steam all over you!
We're on the one road, singing along, singing HIBERNIAN! :flag::flag::flag:

I have seen a number of European fans doing a bounce with their arms linked across their shoulders, it looks pretty awesome. Could it work for the 12th man?
Fantastic effort this season to you all :not worth

Don't know if its been done by other teams or if someone on here has already mentioned it, got a ditty for Matt Thornhill
the tune is the chorus from this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7X3LYGV_N8)
Monster by The Automatic

the words are pretty simple and the first part can be changed to whatever the occasion

Whos that coming over the hill, its Matt Thornhill, its Matt Thornhill
or
whos that just scored a goal, Its Matt Thornhill, its Matt Thornhill
or
.........????
