If he keeps playing like he has been, they'll want to keep a hold of him...........like a lot of youngsters, there's no resrve league, so they need games to get experience.

Lennon rates him highly so i can't see it, the only way is possibly Celtic will go on a buying spree during the summer and Towell sees who is coming in and may ask for a transfer as he might be way down the pecking order?........ in step Hibs

considering Man Utd are sniffing about their current full back, i think towell might be needed by them next season.

The better he plays the less chance we have of keeping him. We should be actively looking for a replacement.

Personally don't think we have any chance of keeping him beyond the summer.

Why is no one moaning about him being too short.

Who are they sniffing about then?

I'd expect Lennon to talk him up btw.

I would love it if we managed to sign Towell on a permanent deal as he has been a revelation at RB but I have to agree with many folk on here, is that it looks unlikely he will be signing a permanent deal as I am sure smeltic are monitoring his progress with us and will already probably see that this boy has got a bright future in the game.

Slow day for bbc gossip if you ask me. Every few weeks they tout Arsene Wenger to make a £25m signing which in reality - its Arsene Wenger he just wouldn't :greengrin

Don't think that would wash with the Soapdodgers, but they might give us Sammy Facecloth next season.

I think it's possible, Paul Caddis went to Arabs on loan, was highly rated but never ( or maybe briefly ) returned to Celtc. Mind you, I think he's now plying his trade at relegation contenders Swindon so we need to be careful what we wish for!

That was my take on it. SAF watching the old firm game, SAF who comes from Glasgow and is a rangers fan, couldn't have just been watching the game but naturally wants to buy some of the pish they've got.

I think there's a good chance he won't go back, and will stay with us.

To be honest, I think he's one of the most exciting prospects we've seen at Easter Road for years. He can push forward from defence, he can cross the ball and his throw ins are brilliant, which have been such a weak point for us for so long!
Unfortunately as other posters have menioned, it's unlikely he'll stay but I'd like us to at least try to sign him for the long term.

Maybe, even if he where to sign a new contract with tic
we could get a season long loan for him
you don't get, unless you ask!!!!
he may now have a taste for first team football, and may stay
he will know that being with hibs, they would not stand in his way
in the future
At least we've played this loan signing, how many in the past
have been left on the bench???
