As this is discussed regularly, it's nice to see the club is (once again) doing something positive along these lines.

Family Fun Day (http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/20110204/family-fun-day_2262950_2285570) - Next Saturday

£22 for one adult and 2 kids + Hibs Kids day + Bring a friend scheme.

I realise this won't please everyone, as it doesn't cover every person who might like to attend, but it's important to applaud the initiatives the club does make.

A great chance for more people to come along and see the new signings. Should be better than the last attempt at a Family Fun Day

Hmmm, I will be paying for my kids. Wonder if I will get them at this price? Doubt it. Always look after wee kids eh? Nothing for big kids.

15 and under which is fair imho! The club in this economic climate is trying hard to offer deals to get more punters in through the gates so hopefully we will see the attendance increase a wee bit next week!

I think it's a great idea, and I hope the kids really enjoy their day at Easter Road.

My kids don't think going to ER is fun anymore. What can I do to convince them?

So, does it have to be £22 for 2 kids or can it be £22 for 1 kid? :greengrin

Good Hibs but can you please do something similar to encourage me and the other X,000 season ticket holders to bring older, financially independent and able to pay their own way for future games, folk to the other stands i.e. Bring a mate or two for a tenner.

Hmmm, maybe that's the point.

I'm putting an advert on Gumtree advertising babysitting services on that day (2pm-6pm) at a charge of £20 per child including a trip to Easter Road. Food and refreshment money to be provided by parents. As soon as I have two kids booked I am withdrawing the ad.

:aok:

Start taking them to Tynecastle. Cheaper admission prices and better football played, plus they will get to meet Hearty Harry

What does Hearty Harry look like?

A cross between Peter Griffin and Chief Wiggum

:hmmm:

Its something to get these type of folk along to Easter Road, people that used to come along, people that have not been in the area long, folk who might just need that wee bit of encouragement to become regulars. Brought along by the converted [season ticket holders] who can [re]introduce them to the cause.

I suggested it with my most serious face on and they are away to their beds in tears :aok:

How old is a kid?

If you are talking about age as in getting into the football cheap, cannae remember. If you are talking in a literal sense, the little ******** are always there!!!!!
