A very frank interview with Fernando Torres (link below). Hard to find fault with what he says really, and it`s refreshing to see a player just tell it like it is without all the usual cliches and soundbites and predictable guff they normally come out with. Seems to be about the first completely honest interview with a football player that I can remember reading.

However, I`m sure there`ll be other opinions on this, so....

Not here m8, I agree too. Torress is one of the best ST in the world and he understands what his job is and in return for doing this he expects trophy's.

The boy is magic and I think he'll score tomorrow.

Doesn`t change the fact that he is talking sense. As for the pic, well, in their role of behaving like a hurt "former girlfriend", forgetting that he netted them a ton of goals and 50 million quid, I`m sure the Liverpool fans will be looking for the smallest thing he does as an excuse to condemn him.

Heavens, next we`ll be hearing that he speaks with a Spanish accent!

Too true about all this kissing the badge nonsense. Kiss the badge one week and kiss my erse the following week .

Let's face it he was never going to win any major trophies with Liverpool and in his best interest has moved to a club where his chances of picking up silverware are far better.

I still hope that Liverpool beat them at the weekend. :aok:

The last bit about terry sums up the whole "romance" debate. The captain of the club he supported all his life and came through the youth ranks in, he wanted a pay rise to convince him to stay. IMHO he is another overachiever who should have been delighted with what he was on.

Terry was a man united fan growing up, as were his father and grandfather.
