To be fair, if a player doesn't want to be freed, the club then has to pay off the remainder of their contract. I'm presuming there weren't a lot of requests from other clubs for the players we'd like to see gone.

No point if no-one wanted them, we'll be paying them anyway so they might as well be here if we need cover.

:agree: I believe that McBride and Nish were told they were free to find new clubs. Obviously, apart from the Chinese, nobody wanted them!
