Now that the transfer window is closed and what we have we now rely on to keep us in the league until we can continue the re-building in the summer, should we be offering the players a major bonus to keep us up??

Given that we have made money and reduced our wage bill during this window and assuming that we tried to bring in a few others that we didn't quite manage, it's time to invest some money in the players we have and give them all a decent incentive.

This transfer window has once again shown that money is what matters most to players and given that we have been unable to motivate the majority of our first team all season, this looks like our best bet for survival.

A £20k bonus is probably about right and although it would cost us in the region of £0.5M, it's a one off payment and is a drop in the ocean compared to going down??

Worth the offer or a non-starter??

Non Starter

Play ****tte than get the opportunity of a bonus if we stay up it encrouages then rewards poor performance

I can understand teams like Blackpool doing this in the EPL but Hibs should never be rewarding players for simply keeping us in a ****ty SPL league.

They already get paid enough IMO. Infact, too much for the sort of performances most of them have been putting in recently.

great idea.... while we are at it why dont we pay them £500 for every goal hibs concede and a £100 bonus for receiving a yellow card with an additional £200 if they go the extra mile and get a red card!

hibs shouldnt be in a relegation battle, these imposters shouldnt be getting any wages never mind a bonus!
