Was thinking the same...
Hogg gone..
Murray - won't be starting much more I would expect.
Hanlon was on Sunday...

If we can get the showumni twins back, either one of them would suffice?

We don't have anyone good enough or commited enough to be given a guaranteed starting XI place anymore so it's a tough one.
It's an entirely ceremonial role, give it to Murray as "club captain" and they can just draw lots for it if he's not playing.

When was the last time we had a good commanding captain?
I wouldn't bother putting pressure on any of the players and would lock the captain's armband away until we have someone who merits it.
It's the way forward.

I heard that CC actually made Hanlon captain on Sat - the sixth captain since he arrived  Shambles.

A commanding captain? What's that? Joking aside, possibly Sauzee? IIRC?

Riordan, the reason why he hasn't been training is that he has been too busy taking captain lessons.

Shambles of a season.

Both these guys were offered armband but none of the two wanted it... Sums it up perfectly for me
