Can any of the stattos out there confirm if this is our worst ever run without a goal, without a win and/or without a point?

It is our worst run without a goal ever. It's not our worst run without a point, as two of the games were in the cup. It's not our worst run of losses either, or without a win.

Cheers p&g. Can you tell me what the records are then? I hope to christ we don't break any more records then!

I think our worst run without a win came in the 97 98 season where we went on a run of 15 games without a win. These were all league games, our current run is 11 games without a win but includes 2 cup games.

The run of 15 games included 10 defeats. It ended with a 1-0 home win against dunfermline but then we went on a 8 game run without a win including 5 defeats in a row.

We are a bit away from breaking those sorts of records!

Not that far off, though.
Our next goal may well come in the Challenge Cup

I may be wrong as I havent gone that far back, just about 13 seasons, but I think this season may be our lowest points haul after 23 games. After 23 games in the 97/98 season, which seen our longest run without a win, we had 18, this season only 16.

This is the most owrrying stat as its the points that matter. In the 97/98 season we were still managing to score goals. This season were are leaking goals and unable to score.

It's our lowest points haul after 23 games, for 20 years, and that's only because you only got two points for a win back then.

I think it's safe to say that this is one of our worst seasons in living memory.

Our worst run of losses.

This year we currently sit on five, it's our worst run since March to May last year when we had six on the spin. Duff Jimmy had 7 in a row in 1997 and Hugh Shaw had 9 in 1960.

Without a win, it's currently at 12. Worse runs include 15 by Duff Jimmy in 1997/98 and Turnbull in 1979. 14 by Scott & Duffy in 1996/97 & Miller in 1990.
