Why?

Better option than Nish if CC is gonna go with just 1 up top. IMO

He scored 2 on his debut, live on TV.

I think that's why I (and a few others) still think he's good.

personally I quite liked what I saw of him at Utd and wondered why he never featured more, sure I heard somewhere on here the reason was the appearance money he was on that they could not afford?
anyway not as prolific as I thought, here are his stats

1999 → Fulham (loan) 5 (1)

2004–2005 Sheffield United 21 (1)

No enough goals in him as is obvious from stats above. Wage was £2k basic at Arabs.

Not for me.

4 goals in 2 years is hardly the sort of goalscoring record that is going to fire us out of this mess. As said previously released for a reason.

In amongst the usual speculation, one name I'm surprised we've not been linked with is Collin Samuel.

I'm sure there will be plenty thinking "not Hibs class", "doesnt score enough" etc, but he's powerful, pacy and can play up top on his own. He doesnt have a great scoring record but neither did his pal Jason Scotland til a few years ago.

Personally I think he's one that could add something and probably affordable as his contracts up in the summer.

That's my tuppence worth for silly season anyway.
