Pity big Carl Cort couldn't prove his fitness may have been a handy guy to have around here for six months or so. The type of player who could hold the ball up and bring other players into the game, whilst contributing with a few goals himself.

Carl Cort. Was he no the guy rumoured that Bobby Robson *wasn't* on about when he told his guys to buy the 'big, black lad who plays up front for Wimbledon'? Paid £7m or something for the wrong player? Probably an urban myth but who knows... :greengrin
