Cracking interview IMHO :-

I like Holloway. :agree: Would feel sorry for Blackpool if they lost Adam. Surely he could sign a pre-contract with Liverpool for next season and help keep Blackpool in the Premiership this season ?

Given the tactics by Adam re submitting a transfer request...I wonder who his agent is??

He has a year and half left on his contract. Blackpool will sell for under 6m, imho.

I also like Holloway but to say that Adam is the ideal replacement for Alonso who Liverpool have failed to replace is a bit of an exaggeration. I would however expect Liverpool to increase their bid to £6 million and Adam to be at Anfield before the end of the month.

Much as I like him, I have no sympathy for Holloway, his winging or 'tiny, little Blackpool.' as he stated they aren't.

You walk over other clubs dealing in your favour and you'll get trampled on when you are in a weak position yourself.

He's snaffled a good few players up on low offers without giving a monkeys for the other club and as we know ourselves, what goes around comes around.

Liverpool are doing to Blackpool what Celtc and Rangers have done to Scottish teams for years. Making it public knowledge they want the player, unsettling the player with a couple of bids to test the water and then, of course, comes the transfer request from the player (for player see agent on advice of interested club) which makes the players remaining at the club difficult.

I would love Blackpool to tell Liverpool to piss off and tell Adam he's staying until the summer to make sure they stay up and thats the end of the matter.

Adam has been wanting away since the dispute over last seasons bonus so Liverpool haven't unsettled him as such...

Ironic when Rangers don't have a pot to piss in, Adam who wasn't good enough for them and is commanding a £6m transfer fee!

I was told last night he should be gone by the end of the window, Blackpool want £8m. Its obvious Blackpool want him to stay till the summer, hopefully to keep them up, but Oyston is a business man, and a bit like us, Blackpool never keep a player if the right money is offered. Anywhere near that £8m will seal the deal.

FWIW I'm not convinced he's that good, yes he's done well for Blackpool but in my opinion he's leveled out now. His performances are nothing special now. The other teams are shutting him down a lot quicker these days, and his influence on games has diminished considerably.

I think Charlie knows this, and wants that pay day now. I wonder if he's a bit worried Liverpool might not be there for him in the summer?

I think if Adam is playing alongside better players at Liverpool (Gerrard, Torres) his performances will actually get better (a bit like Fletcher at Man U - he is a lot better for Man U than he is for Scotland, cos he is surrounded by goodplayers at Man U and dross players when he plays for Scotland!) :agree:

One other thing about young Charlie.....he likes a bet in the Casino ! When he was last up in Scotland for an International match I saw him in a Casino in Edinburgh - he had to move to a table where they upped the Max bet limit for him (to £100 per number!). I am led to believe he actually won £16 K that night......scary !
