Just in time to play us on Saturday

Motherwell have bolstered their attacking options with the capture of Leeds' Mike Grella on loan for the rest of the season.
Grella has enjoyed a spell with Carlisle United (http://topics.skysports.com/Carlisle+United/?section=football)http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif this term, scoring three goals in 10 League One appearances.
With competition for places in Leeds' starting XI fierce, Grella will now continue to accrue first-team experience with the Fir Park outfit.
Motherwell (http://topics.skysports.com/motherwell/?section=football)http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif were on the lookout for a new striker after loanee Nick Blackman opted to join rivals Aberdeen (http://topics.skysports.com/aberdeen/?section=football)http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif from Blackburn until the summer.
The American striker is now in line to make his SPL debut for Well in Saturday's clash against struggling Hibs at Fir Park.

That has to be utter rubbish because there is no players out there available at this time of the year, apparently.

Seen him play several times and would have done a job at Hibs :agree:

A rule that Calderwood was aware of off the top of his head when Sproule was mentioned to him in a press call a month or so ago.

Startling incompetence by Motherwell.

That 2 clubs rule is a piece of nonsense though - doesn't it go against the principles of the Bosman ruling??

In fairness, Vaughan was only disqualified from signing for Celtic after he came on as a sub at Anfield last Sunday (his first appearance for Everton this season). Celtic were probably interested in him before then.

Grella has been ineligible under that rule since mid-October, when he first played for Carlisle.

Plain silly. Made even more stupid by the fact that we are talking now about different coutries. If they can sanction a rule, where players can go on loan to a team in their own league, what is wrong with being on loan a few times?
