The thing is, if Petrie does stump up some money for players, how much would we realistically need to rebuild this side into a top 3 finish. With 14/15/16 players out of contract at the end of the season that I think should all be told to get tae, that means you need to replace them with better quality or it's not worth letting them go. We would need Petrie to stump up a hell of alot of cash to get us anywhere near a challenging standard.

The squad we have now should have enough talent and experience to be up the top end of the league but what is lacking is desire to win a football match, that's nothing to do with Petrie.
