Did anyone see around thirty or forty police and stewards pile across the pitch at speed and run down the exit at the hibs end. It was about three or four minutes after final whistle. Any ideas what that was about?

They let half the hibs fans away and kept the rest behind for 15 mins.

Some hibs fans were an embarrassment tonight, throwing fireworks and doing the hibeesbounce when we are losing to a second division club. Alot of fans are happier winding up the stewards/police than watching a game.

Seen a steward fling a couple of punches at a young Ned and then another firework was thrown at the stewards. After the game walking up the street a few of the local teenagers were hyper but most Hibbies just ignored them. Poor crowd control after the game. If there had been a big Hibs support down there trouble would have kicked off big time.

According to the Scotsman..

"Hibs the recriminations will begin as the fans' agitation increases further, with police required to rush to prevent some Hibs fans making a bee-line towards club officials at the end of last night's pulsating match at Somerset Park."

:agree: Steward was out of order almost started a real rammy by throwing 2 punches. At that point there were 5 stewards and maybe 40 fans.
Some fans were just wanting to shout protest at board / Petrie up in stand

yep steward was bang out of order! Most of the stewards were the same tonight, manhandling fans out the crowd (as far as I know not allowed to touch anyone) police didnt want to know about it when people complained! Absolute disgrace!

Absolute disgrace!Who were these clowns dressed all in black? I take it they were some kind of stewards. My understanding of their place in the ground is to observe and report to police any bad behaviour for the police to take action. These guys last night overstepped their 'authority' in escorting at least one Hibs fan from the ground.

Did not see any of the incidents last night other than the fireworks. In fact given it was terracing stewards rather less noticeable than normal.

But one reason I now refuse to buy season ticket for Hibs is the knowledge that if anyone complains to club about behaviour of stewards/police toward Hibs fans at football whether home and away, they will do nothing about it.

They looked like they had just finished bouncer duties at a pub....maybe the Hibs fan had trainers on....

last night's pulsating match at Somerset Park

?

It was a terrible game. Not just cause we got beat. Not a good advert for Scottish football.

Hardly pulsating.
