It is suggested Martin O'Neill steered clear of the West Ham job because he was annoyed that the club's board (The Brady Bunch) had leaked his interest to the media.

WHU are now saying "we are committed to retaining Avram Grant as manager".

That'll put a smile on his face.......or maybe not considering he is in line for a £5M payout if he's sacked!

i think it has been totally unacceptable how he has been treated, so i think justice has been done by keeping and as a west ham fan i would now love to see him dig and steer them clear of relegation.

On a side note he has thrown away his lucky scarf so he might need to get it back:agree:

The producers of the remake of LA Law won't like this, they are going to have to find someone else to play Benny.

The only thing that is going to save him is the fact that there are plenty other teams within touching distance at the bottom of the league just now.

I'm heading down to London for The FA Cup game v Forest a week on Sunday, I was looking forward to another visit to Quinns on the Sunday for the Dundee Utd game before The Hammers game was moved from the Saturday and I've also booked the weekend in London for The Final of The Carling Cup (although I doubt they will actually make it!).

Have a look at some of these prices if they do make it though!

ye it was amusing to watch some of the stuff witch "seemed" to be going on with regards grant on sky sports news.Saw some of the sports news yesterday and it was sorta indicating that grant was gonnna be sacked and it was like "it ll be this hour"sorta thing. If a manager is gonna get sacked/his postion is in question then surely its a private thing between the club and manager?
As for saint martin, im sorta glad he s kept away from the club,I mean would you wanna be working for a club who d be trying to hire somone else to do the job your doing whilst your in the job?
