There seems to be a train leaving Ayr at 9.43pm getting back to Haymarket at half past midnight. Anyone know if Ayr train station is near the ground? Full time should be 9.30 so it might be do-able if we dont get kept behind??

I would say the station is a good mile from the ground.

What if it goes to extra time and pens?

The train will take you to Glasgow Central then you have to get across to to Glasgow Queen Street station for the last train to Edinburgh

Checked on google earth. Youve no chance of making it from the ground to station in the time space you have you would have to leave very early. Its about a mile n a half. Id stick with a supporters bus. Cheaper than the train.

Providing you know the quickest route and supporters segregation is not in force after the game and providing theres no extra time and pens. I wouldnt risk it.

There's a trian at 22.13 to Gasgow Central arriving at 23.09. That gives you plenty time to get to Queen Street for the 23.30 to Edinburgh.

Just stay over for the night just in case we end up with an 11 hour sudden death penalty shoot out that remains at 0-0 until half 8 Wednesday morning.

Thats the one I'll be on, but you want to go to Newton-On-Ayr rather than Ayr, ground less than 10 mins walk from station, its there at 22.16.
