What is more worrying is the fact that 4000 Hibs fans have went missing since the last visit of one of the old firm....

Can you blame them?

Can you blame us? Who wants to come and pay nearly £30 to watch complete and utter hoofball for over an hour and a half?

Amazing, looked about 11 101 on TV, Celtic support made the difference I suppose

With the ways things are going, we will be praying for that kind of attendance figure next season.

Easter Road is going to be like a ghost town next year.

Taking all factors into account, I'd be amazed if that wasn't the lowest Category A walk-up gate in years. Possibly ever. Almost pleasantly surprised nearly 10k Hibs fans showed face.

not a bad crowd. Still rattles around in that 20,000 capacity ground though.

Pretty sure we had a poorer attendance against Celtic the week after losing to Livi in the LC Final.

I think we'll have a lower attendance against Rangers next Wednesday, regardless of our next 2 results.

Pretty sure we had a poorer attendance against Celtic the week after losing to Livi in the LC Final. Far less season tickets at that time though. And cheaper, and at a better kick off time. Let's be honest, there was zero incentive to spend 27 quid on Hibs today.

Tricky, whilst you may be correct it does not make the situation less embarrassing.

When I signed on here tonight we had circa 2,000 on line.

I thought there was a lot less the 13K + today. Maybe difficult to tell with the new stand but if 3700 away fans were there, I cant believe that there were 10k hibs support in the stadium. I'm in the east and looking to the west and FF they were less than 3 quarters full. looking around the east there were more empty seats than full ones. Kick of time was horrible but not as bad as the crrrrrrrrrrap we had to watch.

And the relevance of that is?

How many of them are Hibs fans and in travelling distance of ER for 12 on a Saturday?

Folk are skint. I know I am.

 why? What are you basing that assumption on?

The place looked half empty on TV.

Can't blame anyone though. 27 quid to watch Hibs at the moment must be the absolute worst value I can think of for any goods, product, or service!

It's an absolute nonsense asking for those prices IMO and the attendances are only going to get worse and worse.

If I didn't have a ST I wouldn't have paid it as a walk up.

£27 to spend on drink and food in a nice warm pub watching the game. :hmmm: No brainer imo.

Football slits it's own throat and satellite tv makes not going an easier option.

It's hard to even get motivated to spend money going to the pub to watch Hibs now!

Staying at home and having a sleep would probably be more entertaining.

There might have been 10000 Hibs fans at the start but by the end lucky if there was 2000. Hibs fans are deserting in rapid numbers. Lucky to 500 to Ayr and even less to Dundee united. We as a support need a massive pick me up. Failure of the board to recognise this will see Hibs take years to recover the support we built up under Mowbray as it is ebbing away every week.

Was speaking to a policeman yesterday who does the police section in the ground on matchdays.

He showed me the breakdown of figures on his phone but then stated that Hibs have now changed their method of stating attendance, namely they take the number of sold tickets.

So if nobody for example attended a match they would still state the total number of season tickets as a minimum.
