Good to hear. Hope it allows CC the opportunity to get his idea across with a big set of fixtures coming up.

Do you think it will be a case of looking at a couple of newcastle players, or will we be fielding a couple of trialists ourselves.?

Neither I would say. We go down to Newcastle and Sunderland for bounce games on a regular basis. CC is still sussing the players out so from that point of view it will be usefull. He will be trying folk out at LB for example.

Neither did Miller or Dickoh as I understand it. That may not be the case though.

Good to see Duffy getting a couple.

Indeed, could be just what he needs to give him that little boost of confidence after his injury. Not too bad a result it would seem.

I think thats good news, personally i'm fed up trialling players to see if they are good enough. Yes we have had the odd gem now and then from trials, but i like to see my manager identify a player that he believes will better the side, then go out and get that player.

Yep trialling people especially duiring the transfer window smacks of complete desperation and that you are now working to Plan Z.

That what i think too, although if memory serves me right, Boozy and Latapy :not worth were trial signings, so they do have their worth. But i do think its better a manager targets players, identifies them and goes out and gets them. Maybe i'm living in dreamland?:dunno:
