we will go with the usual format of 7 races, then an auction race.

last year was a massive hit :agree:

we will be looking for a bigger turnout this time, and thus bigger cash for the team.
a few of the guys last year did an excellent job in helping out on the betting desks and with selling horses/races/sponsorship etc but we really need more guys to take on a few tasks.

tickets to get in will be £5

I will make up sales sheets of 7 horses per sheet, for sale at £5 per horse.
there will also be 7 races to sell to sponsors for £20 per race. the sponsor will be labelled as that races patron. eg: David Brown Builders steeplechase
the winning owner of each race will receive a £20 cash prise.

we will also need around 8 volunteers to take a shot on the betting desks.( half a session each so everyone can have a bet n beer)

likely date for this is looking like
SATURDAY 28th MAY

so, pencil it in, post on here that you can attend and let me know who can volunteer their help and sell some horses and races etc.

Fenton & Ritchie, what's the chances you can both do a similar printing job as last year,

300x A4 sheets so 600 printer runs altogether,
split them between you, so 300 runs each????

oh also, can anyone obtain possible raffle prizes, bottle of vino, case of beer, round of golf (cough**deek**cough).

even if theres a service you can give, like i can do a free haircut etc, fenton can usually get a free MOT. (don't think anyone has a lift in their hoose though Josh :greengrin)

Game confirmed, Fonz's leather jacket, riding gemma etc :notworthy:

Where does it say we're moving it more central and why?

Think the Pitz is a excellent venue :agree:

powerleague...to give it it's correct name :greengrin is available and is suitable.
the newsroom was a suggestion since its more central, but that's entirely open for debate, maybe a poll?
personally I think powerleague is better, but if the majority disagree then coolio.

where's easier to get to, and get back from, powerleague or town?

i am aware of the location, its the fact id need to get a taxi there.

if it were central i could get on a council taxi which costs less.

i cant just throw money away now steven.... i have responsibilities! :na na:

The Indestuctible Power League is a fine establishment, but I was wondering how many it holds? it doesnt seem that big and if all of those unreliable, so called commited players actually turn up with guests..........................................:c ool2:
