Just out of interest, could the fans calling for the board really stand up and take action? Staying away or protests at the end of a game?

Or are we happy to sit back and hope it sorts itself out? Be interesting to see how many fans want Petrie out?

I don't know why we'd want to. The problem at Hibs won't be fixed by throwing money at it. Indeed, it is the players who we ae throwing the most money at who are letting us down the most.

They may pick the managers, but the last 4 managers they picked, 2 got us qualification for Europe, one won us a cup, and one never missed out on top six, and had us in the mix for European football until 2 games before the end of the season, and is now showing his potential as Killie manager.

They've also given us the budget to sign players - with fair contracts, regardless of ability - like Riordan, Miller, Stokes, O'Brien, Makalamby, Murray, Hart, Brown and Smith. Duffy and Grounds will be on decent contracts too, if we're covering thier wages.

They've also sold players, but that's the nature of the modern game, and if you don't think we should have sold, you're not living in the real world. Players have the power, and every club is a selling club.

The board aren't perfect, and perhaps the timing of one or two sales has been disappointing, but they're not the issue here.

Recognising that good players will always move on, we got the best possible price. Other clubs have brought good players through and ended up getting nothing.

Money (Sky) & Bosman have ruined football and there is no easy way back.

The only clubs who succed without mega bucks are those who manage to create a seige mentality / worlds against us but we don't care..that has a manager with an iron fist over squad who demands that the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts..who seek out disaffected players who are more interested in proving they are better than so far judged than money or are flawed in some area...and will play youth if good enough over journeymen supposed safe options. And get rid of underperforming prima donnas / those who don't buy in pronto
