Anyone going?
Me & 5 mates booked cheap flights to Dublin when Ryanair had a sale a while back for February to go to Dublin to watch the Scotland v N.Ireland nations cup game.
The problem is only 2 of us are SFA Travel Club members so the SFA will only let us buy 2 tickets as they won't sell to non members. They have ample tickets available as both teams are away from home so i had thought they'd relax the rules but they won't.
So has anyone got any ideas on how i can get tickets? Do you think they'll have pay at the gate for normal punters from the R.Ireland who want to go? I have tried contacting FAI but no joy so far!

Cheers

Might just have to wait for the 'ballot' and hope for the best.

Thats my option at the moment

You'll get tickets no problem I'd imagine.

With it being collect only the points harvesters can't even give their tickets away so I'd expect under 5000 to attend the game.

Great so you will, go to Dublin, then collect your ticket in person, then give it away, some guy you

Me and Bathhibby are going.

In regards to getting tickets. It is a 50,000 seater stadium, with max 10,000 Scots and NI going. I would imagine it will either be pay at the gate, or buy ticket at the ticket office and stroll in.

You have to be a Supporters Club member to do the ballot and you only get one ticket for yourself, so that doesn't work. The SFA won't give away tickets to any fans who are not members & you have to collect in person in dublin if you are a member so you can't use other's numbers.

With regards the cost, we got Ryanair flights from Edinburgh for £65 return & 3 nights hotel for £55 total each. Match tickets are something like £18. So saved a bit of money so far.

When is it?

And is it easy enough to get tickets or is it too much hassle?
