Also, we've always used squad numbers in the cups it was just Yogi who stopped that.

I would like to see this young lad given a chance tomorrow, if he is available. We could definitely do with a LB as both full-back positions have been a huge problem for us over the past 1-2 seasons now.

They have been since Whittaker & Murphy left. Those two are the ones we've missed the most out of all the players we've sold in recent years IMO.

Yeah that is what I mean. We have not had two decent full-backs since both Whittaker & Murphy left.

Yeah I think he was. He was defo part of the double-winning U/19's side a few years ago.

Disappointed about this, heard good things about Booth and Welsh (though didn't expect to see him at all due to recent injury). With Byrne being of an age now where I'd hope he's breaking into the team.

Just kinda hoped that Booth and Byrne would get some kind of run out.

Would have thought this would have been the perfect opportunity to give the guy his first-team debut, even as a sub later on in the second half.

Disappointing. One of the reasons I am heading through today was to see a new recruit (nae chance!) or one or two of the youngsters on show.

Guess I'll have to make do with Zemmama and Duffy. :rolleyes:
