Does anyone know of any good (free) websites for keeping up to date with companies, markets and financial news?
I'm basically wanting what the FT offers but for free. I know you can get 10 articles free per month on FT but that's not a lot.
Edit: Reuters might do the job

Cheers.
I thought they charged a subscription now as well but realised they didn't just before you posted.

What's wrong with the economist?
Some premium content last time I looked but depends what you're looking for.

There's nothing wrong with it, I've got it bookmarked, but I tend to find that the economist has longer articles on specific topics. Maybe that says more about my attention span but I'm looking for news just to keep up to date with what's going on.
I'm trying to keep up with business/intellectual news because I've found that since I've left uni I mainly check football/sports news and don't spend much time reading about the things that I either heard about in tutorials/lectures or read about in preparation for uni related stuff.

I can relate to that all that time replaced by less constructive activities.

Bloomberg also has a lot of free content and has a lot of market/stock specific news.
Between the BBC, Reuters, Bloomberg and The Economist you should have plenty of light business browsing to keep you occupied! :greengrin

Loads of good stuff on the IHT and NYT websites. Business Week, also, for West Asia (if you're interested), Arabian Business. Forbes, Fortune, CNBC...
Reuters and Bloomberg are good shouts.

The Hargreaves-Lansdown site (http://www.h-l.co.uk/) is a good all rounder
