spoilt my New Year.

Love Gerry Rafferty...saw him at The Playhouse years ago, fabulous talent.

Irony is his famous words from Baker Street "Gonna give up the booze and the night stands." turned out he suffered badly from depression and alcoholism which gave him liver damage.

A year or so ago, he signed himself out of rehab and charter a plane ot take him to the North of Scotland where it transpired he just wandered around taking in the landscape.

Here's another one of his that is magic..

Sad to hear of Gerry's passing - no doubt Baker Street will be run endlessly now - think he had lots of better songs though...Right Down The Line :not worth

First saw him with Connoly when they were the Humblebums in the old Stirling Albion Supporters Club. Think I was about 10!!!!!
