Hibs scout mike meechan told my dad that he was at the hearts v st mirren game looking at any possible st mirren players hibs could sign and he was sitting next to a notts Forrest scout. This scout was looking at David templeton but left saying that as well as bidding for templeton he would now highly recommend that Forrest bid for Ian black who has been on good form. Mike also told him hibs aren't in negotiations yet but are scouting a couple of spl players, a couple of irn bru first division players and Colin calderwood is keen to bring in Newcastle youngsters through his connections at Newcastle united.

I was told by a friend that a Milwall player was heading to Easter Road for a medical with Hibs. No idea how truthful this is what player it is. .any ideas ed?

Of course there will be work going on, but surely the board and management team should be bending over backwards to get at least 2 quality players in ASAP. This team is a shambles and is in real threat of being relegated.
get the bloody finger out Petrie and sort out our club. It is an absolute embarrasment for our club, and us fans, to be treat in this way.

I dont think they are making bringing in players a priority as there has been no hint of moves to ER. Sad times ahead for the Hibs because the board wont get there finger out a do what needs to be done.We need decent players to lift that team which, at the moment is going down like a 1 legged man doing the hokey cokey! :grr:

Again, there never is until the deal is done. That's the way it is, and has been for a number of years. Frustrating in some ways, but better that than doing all our negotiating in the pages of the Record.
