No LH - I think Boxing Day might've been before his turn and he was 'fine' then. Sorry if I've misled.

Running up the views on this thread -1000 + more on one entitled 'Templeton' and 5000 + as many on one entitled 'Stokes'.

Mind boggling.

i arrived back from a christmas break in tenerife last night...while i was away i got talking to a cockney taxi driver while watching the man utd/birmingham match....the old guy was a gooner and the talk inevitably veared towards our mutual love of alex cropley...down at arsenal they still regard him as a legend and whenever he's down visiting arsenal the gooners roll out the red carpet for him...apparantly they cant do enough to accommodate him via hospitality, tickets ect....this show of affection from a club that has more than their fair share of legends illustrates just how highly regarded he was with those that were lucky enough to see him play...get well soon sodjer.

Hey Freddie, seen anything of Charlie or Tex lately?

charlie's still doing his time and i think i saw on youtube that tex has got bitten by the god bug...any info you want on the family can be got via 'front porch tapes' on youtube...the guy that runs it has put pretty much every bit of footage there is on the family on his page...well worth a visit just to see the old ranch as it is now...you can also see the barker ranch as it is now...pretty much untouched since the sixties..

Cropley was at Easter Road last night - looked ok - along with John Brownlie.

Both looked fair chuffed with the scoreline!

They were in the box right behind me. I liked the way that Brownlie stood up, waved his arms and laughed when Nish mucked up his 1 on 1. :faf:
