Celtic star Charlie Mulgrew has been questioned by police after his two-year-old son was allegedly left in a car in freezing temperatures.

Police were called to the Costco car park, at St Rollox, Glasgow, at about 1530 on Wednesday.

It is understood they were alerted by Ultimo lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone.

Doesn't matter what the temperature was - they shouldn't have left their child alone in the car at all! The temp turns it from negligence into abuse in my opinion.

Is it just me that has this mental image of Michele Mone standing for an hour in the freezing cold.... in some of her products? :greengrin

This is further evidence of oppression of Celtic, their players and fans, by the Protestant hedgemony, er, to apprehend Mulgrew when he is quietly going about his business at Costco (is this right?) is nothing short of harrassment and I believe that the officers responsible should be the ones who are in trouble for waiting a full hour to warn Mulgrew, er, that child could have frozen and what did they do about it. I mean this is hardly child abuse, er, I also heard that one of them was listening to a Kevin Bridges tape in his tea break, further evidence of their sick sense of humour. I trust Rangers players will be subject to the same scrutiny when they go to buy their 24 packs of BBQ ribs, and economy size packets of washing powder. :grr:

Dick doesn't cover it. A Month or so at Her Majesty's pleasure might focus his responsibilities as a Parent.

Why just him, though? They'd both have to go, and who would look after the bairn?

Oh, wait....

Moron of a man and a piss poor defender who seems to be getting through life by his ability to take a decent free kick occasionally. Him and his wife need a good boot up the arse over this

Yup both of them. There are literally Hundreds of foster mums who look after Children/babies in worse circumstances that that outcome.

Absolutely unbelievable that people would be so stupid.

Not only that but apparently Mulgrew and his wife were angry with Michelle Mone for reporting this incident. :bitchy:

The pair of them should have been arrested there and then.

Is there not a shortage of foster parents at the moment, and they are trying to recruit more? :dunno:

Think there is plenty for babies and toddlers FR. Teenagers might be different.

 Child abuse no laughing matter, just as bad as racism, sexism, homophobia, etc etc etc, if this 'light hearted banter' isn't stamped out then before you know it it'll be ok to do experiments on children just like Josef Mengele did, etc etc etc.

Cleared, shock horror in this country. If that had been an 20 year old single mother from muirhouse (nae offence) then they would of had the child off her long ago, but someone in the public eye its a misunderstanding

F IN JOKE IMO

Absolutely, every primary school child should be made aware of the dangers of intolerance. :agree:

As far as I know all primary children are taught about this (mine is in P7 just now and is well aware). Unfortunately other influences (parents, friends, media, etc.) may not lead by example.
