Decent game on the Monday Night Football for a change, with the Gunners visiting Old Trafford.

Usually explosive encounters - hoping this is no different!

0-0, 5 minutes gone, SS1.

Neither team look creative from 18 yards in though.

Shame he's a cheat, as he has the potential to be a good player - same kind player as Ronaldo, just on a lesser scale - bags of ability, wretched concept of fair play, horrible attitude.

A well taken goal aside, if this was a SPL game it would be getting slated for being a boring game littered with misplaced passes.

If Arsenal have another trophyless season, i think that would be 6 in a row, would the fans start calling for Wenger to be sacked or 'moved upstairs'?

I appreciate he has had great success in the past and his team still play some great stuff on their day but surely patience must be running out waiting for it all to come good and actually go from being a good side to a successful side.

Been absolute rubbish.

Best league in the world though.

This would be a huge win for United, keeping their long unbeaten league record intact and going back to the top of the league.

If it stays like this, they'll be two points clear with a game in hand. If they avoid defeat at Stamford Bridge next week, that would be a massive result.

Wayne Rooney has to be one of the most over-rated players I've heard being described as "world class".

No pace, terrible first touch, awful finishing touch and a terrible attitude/temper.

One good season and he's heralded as the best English striker since Shearer. This guy couldn't lace Shearer's boots :bitchy:

(Yes, I'm pissed because he's in my fantasy team :greengrin)

Is that the same terrible attitude/temper that has got him booked just 19 times in 128 matches for United and England (since start of 08/09 season) and hasn't seen him get shown a red card in almost two years?

Bad luck Arsenal, same old story with all the pretty football and absolutely zero end product.

Evra was right, they'll win nothing this season.

Can i ask where in Manchester you are from FH?

I'm not from Manchester, I've only been in the city on about four occasions in my life and I've never been to a Manchester Utd match.

I don't have any ties to Edinburgh either and I'm a diehard Hibs fan.

Another terrible encounter involving two of the supposed big 4 in England.

Great goal from Park mind you and Ferdinands challenege on Sagna was a shocker imo

The Manchesters deserved their win but it would have been an interesting last twenty if they'd had to play with ten as they should after Ferdinand's attempt to neuter Sagna.

Always thought Man United would win this one as Arsenal choke against the bigger teams. The pitch played its part in the passing quality of both teams. United's defence was excellent.

The big game is really Chelsea v MU. How that goes may dictate whether its a close league or United begin to sail out in front. Given United's away record this season a draw would probably be a good result and still leave Chelsea without a win.

Interesting stat that Arsenal had over twice as many fouls as United and 4 yellows to the Reds zero. Will they buy in January? I would if I were Arsene but I guess he probably will not.

Rio Ferdinands a dirty *******. :agree: Wasn't any different from De Jongs on Alonso in the WC final. Except it was his baws :boo hoo: and not his chest.
