Is North Lanarkshire Leisure a public body? If so there needs to be some serious banging together of heads.

Think its RIP the Bully Wee now. Should never have left Rutherglen.

Wish this had have happened back in 56, we'd only be waiting half-a-century for the Scottish Cup instead of over a full one.

We are Hibs, we'd find a way to blow it even if the other team failed to show up.

Does anyone else think this is just a piece of brinksmanship by Clyde?

Maybe angling for a reduction in their rent, after all where are they going to go, back to Shawfield? it was a dump when they left. They seem to suggest that they are going to build their own place wonder where the money is going to come from for that? What will North Lanark leisure do with a football ground with no tenant, perhaps Clyde's thinking is that it would be better for them to have a tenant paying a reduced rent rather than no rent and the occasional Scotland youth international match for income.

Scottish Cup? 1956? :bitchy:

Dashing Bob, have you outed yourself? :cool2:

As for 1958, it provides part of a rather sad trivia question:
"Name the last two Hibs players to score winning goals in Scottish Cup Finals?"

A: Arthur Duncan and John Baxter. :bitchy:
