Anybody know which streets they cleared? I'm struggling to find any concrete evidence that they did.

On the BBC news last night they were filmed on my street but could see any sign of the pavements being cleared when I got home. Mind you they might have just been clearing ths snow outside the old folks home.

from what i saw on bbc scotland's news it looked like they were in Watson Crescent

Thats my street but from the looks of it they were only clearing the old folks home., which was good of them.

I did like what one of the squaddies that got interviewed said. He said that they were all happy to come out and help if they could as a thank you for all the support they got from the public when they were in Afghanastan.

They were very careful, cleared the snow and ice without damaging any of the concrete! :greengrin

So, as of today, our extensive poll has revealed they were cleaning in the vicinity of the Sick Kids and Polwarth. I smell something.

They were asked to do Magdalene ...they bottled it & said they would rather be back in Afghanistan ...:agree:
