I've been getting persistent phone calls from an Indian-sounding gent asking me about any loans or mortgages I have had recently and saying he can help me reclaim bank and insurance charges. He mentioned PPI - Payment Protection Insurance - as an example.
I know that sites like the Money-Saving Expert are pushing the charge reclaim thing big style and fair enough but what they don't tell you is that crooks are also keen to get on the bandwagon.
The guy keeps ringing back despite my abusing him verbally. Persistent eh? These people must be desperate to do that kind of work.
