They do only have 1 but you come in about row 12 and they class the rows above that walkway as the upper tier. Only in yamland.

I'll not be buying until the Friday - Hibs always sell the tickets at the main stand side first, i'd rather be in the middle or to the Wheatfield side. I expect there will be a general sale, although perhaps not as many tickets will be available to non-season-ticket holders as there usually would be due to the game actually going ahead on the first for the first time in years.

When buying tickets for the PBS online do you get to see where you'll be sitting mate? I've never bought Hibs tickets online before.

Unfortunately not. You can pick between Upper and Lower, then its pot luck where you end up sitting.

bunch of me and my mates were gonna go for tickets on the friday but we can't get days off etc.

if i was to do it online could i order say 6+ tickets? or is it still 1pp?

edit - where it says one per member... say i couldn't make it to ER and my mate went up and just said my name, seeing as i'm a member would he be allowed more than one?

edit again - member meaning just on the database?

I think it's worse as people can go down before work and go in late, if you don't work close to easter road then it's not very easy to get down at lunchtime and back to work in an hour. I suppose different times suit different people.

Also from memory tickets always went on sale at 9am, why change it?

Interesting point callum, I tried to renew my hibs interactive membership last season using a debit card online but couldn't . I don't have a credit card so was extremely cheesed off to put it mildly. Obviously the ticket office is different, but in this day and age for a fairly large company not to accept debit cards, in my opinion is ridiculous.

It might just be your card... if you can let me know your card number (the 16 digit number on the front), expiry date and the CVC code (the three digit number on the back) I will let you know if it is the card you have

Not exactly on topic but, the online system doesn't accept all Debit Cards. It's not purposely set-up to reject some of them, it just does. Would be nice if they got it fixed (yes, I did report it, ages ago).

No chance we could shift nearly 8,000 tickets. We have struggled to sell the allocation for two/three years now.

I hate how the fishy site will state "only 100 or so tickets left" turn up to the game and its more like 5-600. They try this stunt so people will snap them up, but infact, I think it does the opposite and people think "Ive no chance of getting one then".

You could probably count on one hand how many games where we've not sold out our allocation for Tynecastle since they built the Roseburn Stand.

And one of them was in protest at the £33 fleecing.

Hibs loss.
I find it hard to believe that you know twenty people that are Hibs fans who have all failed to do anything previously to get on the database and who all decided they want to come this one of our worst starts for years.

Hibs aren't really losing out from these types of fans are they? They've evidently not been active and if they want to
be again then there's plenty opportunity to get on the database or get Hibs mates to get you tickets.

I was going to go down to ER today but couldn't make it into town so decided to phone and pay the extra !.50 per ticket. got through eventually - firstly they game me tickets for the St Mirren game on 8 january! so had to cancel and sart again - got all the way to giving references and was given final amount and told seat etc then when about to give card number got cut off - my stupid cordless phone does not give very long time on calls and it took an age to get through and possibly the fact that we had to cancel and start again meant we were on the phone longer. - as all the details are in the system will this be saved as obvioiusly it is one per st holder - do you think if i call back and eventually get through it will just be a case of giving the card details?
