Morning..

for the last 2 nights, my Blackberry has drained of battery and switched off during the night.. which has then made me late for work!

Apart from using a new alarm :0) has this happened to anyone else? anyone know what's causing this?

there was about 75% battery when i went to sleep last night and woke up with it totally drained.. i thought it might of been an app running in the background but nothing seems to be on..

is there an automatic shutdown app i've maybe switched on?

Depends if it's new. Did you condition the battery when you got it? Need to fully charge then discharge the battery a couple of times or it won't hold a charge as long as it should. Also possible that it's just a dud battery.

the phones only 4 months old and only the last 2 nights something seems to have happened within a few hours of me putting the phone down and picking it back up!

I'll keep it charged through the night and grab a spare battery..
