Just turn up :agree: (this time with links!)

Get free entry to 48 historic sites across Scotland on Sat 27 - Tues 30 Nov, in celebration of St Andrew's Day. The Free Weekend (http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/index/places/events/freeweekend.htm) features several sites which normally charge an entrance fee e.g. an adult on the door ticket to Edinburgh Castle usually costs £12 and £6.50 for kids, so there are great savings to be had.

Most sites are open 9.30am to 4.30pm, except for Edinburgh Castle and Stirling Castle, which are open 9.30am to 5pm. For a full list of participating sites, visit the Historic Scotland (http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/index/places/events/freeweekend.htm) site. For some venues you may need to book in advance.

The deal: Free access to historic sites in Scotland. Valid: Sat 27 - Tues 30 November 2010. How: Pick a venue and turn up. For the Maeshowe Visitor Centre you'll need to book in advance. Expires: Tues 30 Nov. Excludes: N/A Offer from: Historic Scotland (http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/). Restrictions: N/A.

BTW this is your Christmas present from Jack :faf:
