Anybody else staying overnight in Inverness?

If so, any good suggestions for bars/clubs to hit on the Saturday night?

Had a cracking laugh one night in Cactus Jack's, across the road from the train station. Bit of a dump, but when the bird with the big chebs gets up on the table and starts pouring shots down your throat, the decor becomes less of an issue.

Cactus Jacks has closed down due to too many unsavoury incidents.

The Room across from Hoots is also worth a visit & there's a Wetherspoons just 100 yards or so further along the street if you want a few cheap rounds to get you in the zone:)

All of the places mentioned above are pretty decent, all close together, most with live music & open until around 3am but bear in mind there's a midnight curfew in Inverness so if you're not in by 12 your night's over.

Johnny Foxes was good for the Ross County game and seems to be where the local players end up after the matches too.

I believe the meteor storm will still be visible if skies are clear. There is also a prayer meeting at the gospel hall. For the more adventurous, you may like to try crossing the road when the red man is still on.

Something for everyone, that's the highland capital.

:tsk tsk: You cheeky cabbie!

Not fully representative of a lively Inversneckie weekend evening's entertainment in my experience!! (Albeit fairly "lively" nights oot"! btw!) :greengrin
