Has anyone been watching the fly-on-the-wall on Channel 4 about the Police?

Watched the first two episodes and I think it's brilliant. The Police get a really bad reputation from folk, but when you see the crap that they have to deal with, and how they deal with it, it shows them in a totally different light.

Last week had scenes from fatal car accidents, and how the Police manage to deal with these situations so regularly is amazing. Last night's episode was about 999 calls, and you wouldn't believe the crap that folk phone 999 for (someone wanted the Police to put them through to Orange, FFS!).

The key thing about the documentary though, is that you get an honest view from the policemen/women that they're following.

It's a real eye opener, and I have to say I have a lot more respect for the Police on the back of it.

Totally agree. I saw the one last week about the accidents and had no idea the police actually clear accident scenes of fatalities and even ensure bodies are as presentable as possible for family members.

I've always thought the police do a good job its the legal system that's making a mockery out of the publics opinion of them.

As you say its was good to hear an honest opinion and how they deal emotionally with what they have seen.

Anyone think that policeman in the car with the young blonde colleague was giving her one?
