With Trakys putting himself about to good effect today and Ian Murray in his rightfule defensive mid position and also a stronger looking back 4, are we developing a much needed physical side to our game?

According to the quite extraordinary Trakys thread (everyone saying what a good guy he is) and the new disposition of the back 4, I would say that the answer's a resounding YES.

The starting 11 team was taller and more physical than any other Hibs team in the last 2-3 years where the only midgets were Miller and Rankin, and Rankin was pushed out wide left so not key to the m/f battle.

We've needed a harder edge for a while. Fed up being bullied by the hertz, hamilton and ICTs in the league.

Grounds and Dickoh providing a physical element at the back, Trachys putting himself about, Deeks chasing back for everything, and the midfield pressing the ball.
A nasty streak, just like Calderwood wanted:agree:
